A wonderful cabled merino sweater found at the thrift store, that had an ugly, unflattering semi-turtleneck. I removed it and knitted on a fluffy light kid mohair cowl.
Just enough in this gorgeous skein to make a beanie. The yarn ends and tails make the tuft at the top!
A finished knitting project, albeit a small one: a headband/earwarmer in a lace-rib pattern.
